CORNWALL SIMMENTAL CLUB HERD COMPETITION 2011
Judge Matthew Harris
Presentations were made, by the Charlie Harris on behalf of his son Matthew this year’s herd competition judge after the A.G.M. on November 8th at The County Arms, Truro
Cornwall Simmental Club President, Roger Pascoe, kindly accompanied the judge Matthew Harris (Stockman at the Bernies-Allsop Herd of Ruby Reds at Little Cockswell nr Farringdon Oxfordshire) over the three days of visits. Covering the length and breadth of Cornwall 14 herds participated confirming that the enthusiasm for the herd competition continues.
The Bolankin Herd was awarded the overall Best Herd Perpetual Trophy kindly given by Kevin Thomas (Crowgey Herd) in memory of his late father. The Killiworgie Herd were reserve.
